Well,
stokerbramwell is busy moving house (good luck setting up base, and congrats on the new abode!) He hasn't much time to post horror clips, so I'd thought I'd take a small break from my own horror-slash-comedy vids, and post something more frightening and serious.
HOWEVER, let me set up the clip for all of you who are interested in the horror genre.
This clip is from a movie filmed in the 1980s, and while this era is known for producing laughably hilarious horror movies, and great amounts of pointless gore, it also produced some very scary stuff. This scene is one of the first in the film and it sticks with me to this day. Although it is a horror movie, it taught me a bit about writing. Like how you can have abject terror, but also an odd sense of hope at the same thing. Its a scene of keeping promises and un-dying love, but also a scene of fear and death. It leaves you with no dobut that the intent is to frighten, but it also leaves you with a vague sense of hope and love. Like if bad head-cheese somehow had the after-taste of candy . Sometimes, an excellent writer, director, and actor come together and you have one of those scenes you will NEVER have again the history of film or writing. You've taken two completely different things and gotten them to harmonize.
This scene is *some-what* SFW, but there is a bit of violence. I'm very sorry but I *cannot* embed it, as this is the only instance of this video I have found.
Horror Movie Moment.
